This eighteen minute video gives people thinking about a position as a direct support professional (DSP) balanced information about what being a DSP is like. It illustrates the real, everyday work of direct support professionals, including both the successes and challenges. It includes DSP’s giving first-person stories and advice for people considering becoming a DSP. After watching the video, people should be able to make a more-informed choice about whether this job is for them.
