Embracing Change – Transitions through the Lifespan is the theme of the 2018 Autism Imagine Conference and the 2018 Autism Imagine Conference is seeking proposals for breakout sessions that will be informative, relevant, family-centered, evidence-based, and which will encourage opportunities for learner engagement.

We anticipate 300 attendees for the conference, with roughly 50-60 per breakout session. There will be approximately 30 presentations. Most presentations will be 75 minutes in length and some presenters may be asked to present on the same topic twice. If your presentation requires more time, you may request two presentation periods for a total of 150 minutes.

Proposals: We are seeking proposals that will address the transitions, early childhood to adulthood, an individual with Autism Spectrum Disorder will experience. The target audience for this conference includes families, individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, school staff members, agencies and community organizations. In particular, we are seeking proposals that fall within one of the following strands:

  • Early Childhood
  • Childhood
  • Adolescence
  • Young Adult
  • Adult

Poster Session: In addition, we will be sponsoring a Poster Session on Thursday, April 12 from 3:45-5:15pm. For poster requirements, please go to the conference website listed below.

  • Name, contact information and short biography for each presenter
  • Presentation or poster title, strand, objectives, and abstract
  • Signature that you have read the speaker guidelines

Proposals need to be submitted no later than December 15, 2018.

Presenters will be notified by January 19, 2018 if selected.
